At AMP Motorsports Inc, we are factory trained installers with years of experience. That is right, our installers here has gone to San Antonio, USA at Xpel headquarters so that we can install paint protection film at the highest degree. Our apprentices work closely with out main certified installers and gets checked by our certified installers for proper job completion and finishing.

We have state of the art equipment to provide the best fit and finish. Our vehicle lifts allows us to work on a vehicle at eye level or we use vehicle ramps. All of our pre-cut kits are done in house with our plotter machines and we use Xpel DAP software for accurate fitment. Xpel DAP software is the industry’s best software when coming down to precise fitment on kits. These kits are computer scanned and then vigorously tested by the design team at Xpel headquarters.

Our facilities has been tailor made for best results. We have specific lighting in our shop to provide a very bright environment so we can see all the details when we work. Our ceiling and walls have been painted also so that we can get the best light reflectivity from all angles. Our floors have been epoxied to keep the floors clean for dust and dirt control. Our facilities are only equipped with radiant heaters and not forced air. This highly decreases the amount of dirt floating around in the environment and also heats surfaces evenly for proper curing. Our shops are also equipped with air conditioning for the summer months so that the film is installed at a proper temperature between 20-30 degrees celcius. (insert this video after)

• What is ppf made out of? PPF is a urethane film
• How does PPF work? PPF is a sacrificial layer. It absorbs impacts of road debris and helps prevent it from damaging the paint underneath. Self healing properties allows minos scratches to disappear with heat.
• How long does the film last? 10 years warranty on the film, that is material and labour!
• How do I take care of the ppf? Hand washing is recommended or basic touchless car wash
• Can I pressure wash the vehicle? Yes but please keep the spray nozzle back about 1-2 feet and have a fan spray setting.
• What parts can be covered by ppf? Pretty much any smooth surface can be covered by ppf. From exterior parts to interior parts and not limited to automobiles as well. Can do motorcycles, powersports, etc
• Would the ppf be noticeable when installed? PPF is virtually invisible, a good installation is one where people would not know it has ppf unless told so, or only detectable from a very close distance
• Can PPF be applied to existing damage? No, we do not recommend putting the ppf on damaged panels
• Can ppf be removed with no damage to paint? Yes, it can be carefully removed using forms of heat, adhesive removers, specialty tools, and patience
• Will the panels with ppf be noticeably different from panels without? No, it will not be, as it is clear and would not change the colour at all.
• How long until I can wash my vehicle? We recommend waiting at least a week after services are completed to wash the vehicle.
• Can a ceramic coating be applied on top of the ppf? Yes, absolutely we can apply a ceramic coating on top of the ppf. We recommend Xpel Fusion ceramic coating which is specially formulated to bond and perform with the Xpel ppf. Since ceramic coating is a UV inhibitor and is hydrophobic, it prolongs the longevity of the ppf and also makes it easier to clean.
