Car window tinting involves applying a thin, transparent film to the windows of a vehicle. This film can be made from various materials, such as polyester or a combination of metals and dyes.

70% - Basically undetectable and would appear almost clear. Recommended for people who want to have the appearance of no tint but the benefits of tint.

50% This provides a slight tint appearance also recommended to people who do not want dark windows but want the benefits of tint

35% (legal limit in front 2 windows of vehicles in Ontario) Very easy to see through and is comfortable driving at night.

20% Medium darkness. This shade will take some time to get used to, but is very comfortable especially for rear area of the vehicle.

5% Limo tint, blacked out. Maximum privacy.

At AMP Motorsports we have over a decade of experience tinting vehicles and can get any job done. We professionally install our tints as clean as possible. Our Xpel DAP program also allows us to computer cut patterns using our plotter machine to have precise and uniform installations. This also minimizes knife use and liabilities.

• ⦁ Is tint applied on the outside? No! the tint is applied on the inside of the vehicles but we do initially put it on the exterior windows during the process to heat shrink the film to the curvature of the glass

• ⦁Will the tint block my radio signals or reception or remotes?No, our window tints will not interfere with any signals, frequencies, radio or remotes.

• ⦁ Can I wash my car after tint? Yes! Since tint is on the inside, you can do what ever you want on the exterior.

• ⦁ How many days can I not roll down the window? We always recommend 3-5 days depending on seasonal temperatures. In the summer time 3 days is sufficient as for winter we recommend 5 days or more.

• ⦁ I see water bubbles after tinting? Yes! This may occur as there will be residual water left even after we squeegee the window. This is also the reason to not drop the window 3-5 days as the residual water will be there for a few days. This WILL go away, it is normal and just have to give it time.

• ⦁ How soon can I clean the inside of my glass? We recommend 1 week before doing any wiping or cleaning of the inside windows.

• ⦁ What do I clean my windows with? We recommend lint free towels or microfibers and window cleaners that are AMONIA FREE.
